Crisis Intervention Team
Education Collaboration for 2019

The Crisis Intervention Team Education Collaboration is a proactive, 5-day program for school personnel designed to increase awareness of mental health issues and develop crisis management skills.

​

New this year to the week-long training is a Mental Health First Aid class with each participant becoming received in Mental Health First Aid!

School staff members are welcome to join us:

$25 for those working in Portage County
$150 for out-of-county school employees
Two graduate credits are available for $300

Topics include:

Handling Crises with Kids, Substance Use Disorder, De-escalation Principles, Autism, Human Trafficking, Depression & Suicide Prevention, Child Abuse, Trauma, Street Drugs, & More! Learn Verbal Techniques & Participate in Role Plays! Tour the County Jail & Coleman ACCESS!
