The Portage Substance Abuse Community Coalition
 

Local community leaders have come together to form the Portage Substance Abuse Community Coalition. This group of organizations and individuals are dedicated to preventing and treating substance use disorders as well as advocating for funds and policies to address addiction.

 

The group meets at 1pm on the second Thursday at the Kent Free Library and virtually on the following dates in 2024:

Residential Treatment Facilities

 

Horizon House is a residential facility in Ravenna caring for women who are in recovery from addictions. Operated by Townhall II, an agency funded by the Mental Health & Recovery Board.

Recovery Housing

Portage Area Recovery Center (PARC) and On Track to Recovery houses are located in Kent and operated by Family & Community Services. Contact them at 330.677.4124.
